Finding A Boise iPhone Repair Service

My iphone is the lifeblood of my business.  As a realtor, I often rely on just my smartphone to conduct all types of business and transactions.  Without it, I am dead in the water.  Last week the glass on my iphone broke, and I began a search to find the best Boise iphone repair service.  I have a rather large network on Facebook, so I thought I would start there.   Several people had very high recommendations for a place in Meridian.  I called them, spoke with the technician, and he gave me a quote over the phone.   He told me that I could drop my phone off during my lunch break, and he would have it done in less than an hour.   Nice!   I found a couple other places by doing a Google search, and called them as well.  The second place was actually close to my Boise office, but when I called, I spoke with a cell phone sales rep, who didn’t seem to be able to provide much detail to their iphone repair services.  He simply just told me to bring it by and they would take a look at it.   I made one last call, and although this young lady was very pleasant, she also could not give me much info about costs, time, parts in stock etc…   So I opted for LoosePrices Repair Center, the place in Meridian.  I dropped my iphone off, and picked it up after lunch just as the technician recommended.   My phone looked brand new, and the repair came with a 90 day warranty.  I could not have been more pleased!  My search for a Boise iPhone repair center is over.  I highly recommend them!

Determine Now If You Need House Painters

house paintersAs spring approaches, it’s time to start contemplating the projects you want to tackle once warmer weather hits. Winter’s wind, snow, sleet, and ice have likely taken a toll on your yard as well as your home’s exterior, possibly even causing some extent of damage. Some of it, like faded or peeling paint, can easily and relatively inexpensively be remedied by hiring house painters from Colorado Springs while other issues, like replacing the roof, may require a bigger investment of time and money.

Take a Look

While you may not be able to assess the full extent of the needs of your property until the snow melts, you can certainly begin to take an inventory of what needs doing without Mother Nature’s cooperation (and for some of it, you won’t even have to leave the house). Begin by surveying your yard. If you have a fence, are all of the slats intact? Does it need power washing or restaining? What about the garden retaining wall- is it holding up well? Are there any hazards in the yard that should be addressed as soon as the weather permits, like a broken trampoline or a dead tree? Do trees or bushes need trimming, reshaping, or removing? Take a good look at your deck or porch and determine if anything there needs attention, including the furniture and grill. Think back to all of the honey-dos you thought of the last time you were enjoying your yard- chances are you didn’t accomplish all of them before the winter set in, so be sure to include those on your list, too. It may seem premature, but now would also be a good time to begin planning your spring garden. Within the next few weeks you will want to start the seeds of the plants indoors so they’ll be ready to transplant once the danger of frost has passed.

Get Outside

At some point, you’ll need to brave the frigid temperatures and actually go outside in order to look at your home’s exterior. Check everything from the rain gutters to the window seams and spotlights and make note of any issues you find. If possible, examine the foundation, driveway, sidewalk, path to the front door, any steps there may be, as well as the front porch or patio to ensure they are safe and in good repair. You don’t want anyone tripping or falling on your property. Take a good look at your home from the curb. What stands out to you in both the pro column and the con column? Are your Christmas lights still up? How’s the house paint looking? Have winter storms left it lackluster or has it held up impressively well? Is your roof intact, or are there missing shingles?

Plan and Prioritize

Knowing now what you will need to do in short order will help you to create a game plan and prioritize the projects. It will also allow you to budget appropriately so you can decide if you will be hiring house painters in Colorado Springs or learning how to do some new things for yourself.

Ways to Find Good Tenants

There are several challenges that come with owning a rental property. One thing that all property owners face at one point or another, however, is trying to find renters for their property. There are tons of people looking for a place to live, but getting your property in front of them isn’t always easy. Knowing that you lose money every day your property is empty, you’ll undoubtedly want to get your property filled as quickly as you can. Here are three tips for finding new tenants and getting your property filled:

  1. Ask your friends- One of the best ways to find new tenants is to speak with your friends and see if they are interested. You never know when one of your friends will be looking for a new place to live and will be interested in renting your property. Even if they aren’t interested in renting the property themselves they may know of someone who is. Often times if you get a referral from one of your friends there is a good chance that it is high quality. Another way that your friends can help you is by sharing your listing on their personal social networks. Social media is a fantastic way to extend your reach and it could end up being the source for your new tenants.
  2. Ask your current tenants- If you have a good relationship with your tenants, but their lease is up and they are looking to relocate you should consider asking them. Just because your tenants are looking to move, it doesn’t mean that they didn’t have a good experience and didn’t like your property. Ask them if they know of anyone who is looking for a new place. They might just surprise you and come through with a quality lead.
  3. Use a property management agency- If you find that you are still struggling to get your tenant filled with rentals, then one of the things you should consider doing is hiring a property management agency. One of the benefits of a property management agency is that they will work hard to market your property for you. They have access to all sorts of networks and will be able to spread the word about your listing and get it full quickly. Another benefit of an experienced property management agency is that they will be able to perform a tenant screening for you to check things like employment history, credit history, and criminal background.

Remember that even though you may be eager for new tenants, you want to get someone who will be easy to work with and who will respect your lease agreement.
